Price is per item each Item has been lightly coated in wd40 to soften the old grease and grime. So they clean off fairly easy average time 3-5 minutes Original Vintage item.The muzzle cover would be slipped on to the end of the barrel and turned to position the sight guard over the forward sight. this fits the barrel on 8 mm Mausers. It will need to be modified to fit rifles with front sight protectors. Note: It came to my attention just recently that someone needed some help with this. So here it is with pictures. These Cleaning instructions are provided for people that don't know how and want to learn. Not to insult anyone just to pass on the information I was taught. The last 4 pictures are provided as an example of how the item will look when you are done. We send you an uncleaned item as shown in the first 3 pictures. Tools I use brass brush, green scrub pad, small needle nose pliers, cotton swabs, and WD40. The spring in the muzzle cover is removed by turning clock wise an pulling gentle outward. I wipe off the inside with cotton swabs and oil until clean, and the spring. Polish the muzzle cover outside all over with the wire brush and green pad. Wipe off with oil. Screw the spring back in. Push in gently when you get to the top of the top of the level of the muzzle cover. Do not use your finger. These can and will pinch at will. Use a small screw driver and push the spring cap down just slightly below the level line. 1/8" or so. Remember These things were made to last forever. unscrew reset. repeat. 1908. they never threw the whole thing away. just would replace a little spring USA & International Customers: Please contact me if you would like a specific type of shipping before purchase so the listing can be corrected.
