Mutt and Jeff 58 (1952): FREE to combine- in Fair condition The comic book is in low grade but complete condition due to the worn and somewhat brittle spine and edge chips. All pictures shown are of the actual scans of this comic book for sale (and which you will receive) and not from another source. This comic book, which is over 70 years old, has a fairly decent looking cover shine, and an average crispness level. The flaws are typical of what one would find in this condition, such as spine splits of 1 3/4" & 1 1/2" at opposite ends, a couple of edge chips with the largest being 1 1/4" x 1/2"; some water on the lower edge of the front cover which extends inward for a couple of pages, a detached cover, and some browning on the back/inside back cover. Inside, everything is complete, with no coupons or panels cut out, as the structure is minimally to reasonably solid, with no detectable brittleness (next to the spine split can be a cause for concern down the road), with the OWL whiteness level about a 5 or a 6.
