MUSEUM ALERT! VR OLD KING COLE DISPLAY CO. 46" MANNEQUIN BOY UNDERWEAR CANTON OH

Description: Stored away for years in the basement of a Small Town Estate and what a VERY RARE FIND for ALL.... especially if you collect CANTON, OHIO MEMORABILIA! Maker: OLD KING COLE DISPLAY COMPANY that started in 1905 (Famous for Disney Issues 1932-1942 & Licensed by Disney.) Circa 1910 is this STORE WINDOW DISPLAY FIGURE of a YOUNG BOY and was made to DISPLAY BOY'S LONG UNDERWEAR ... the reason the body section is not decorated ... open field as it was always covered. 46" High with base at 14" in diameter. To find with the ORIGINAL GOLD FOIL CROWN LABEL is Remarkable .. see photo. Late one made in the 1930's for GLOBE UNDERWEAR has the later RED TAG. (See 3 photos at end.)------------------------------------------------The company made tons of display items (Blue Boy Paint, Disney Figures, etc.) from their LAMINITE which was a very durable PAPER MACHE and was exclusive to that company (so they say). They advertised you could varnish and it would be very durable as an outside figure as well. This would have been a STORE DISPLAY. This one is EMBOSSED ON BASE --- YANK or YANKEE BOY and that would have been the Circa 1910 Boy's one piece long underwear and this was the display form.... a young boy. REMARKABLE - CALL ANY MUSEUM NOW! Also one can be found on their later issue with the GLOBE ...also an underwear brand ..of the time. See last 3 photos for that one that is for sale ...now...on etsy at $895.00. (One already sold..... btw.) HOW do you price something SO RARE? .... in REALITY, you can't ... BUT ....
