Description: This is a Vintage Murano Glass Triangular Rolled Edge Console Bowl or Centerpiece, attributed to JICO (Jordan Import Company). Jordan Imports was an importer of authentic Murano glass and used a variety of different Murano furnaces to create their pieces. This piece is missing its original JICO sticker, but its form appears in their catalog and can be attributed as such. The rolled edge bowl has a beautiful ruffled triangluar floriform (flower) shape and features a swirled, abstract murrine pattern in shades of red, yellow, green and cream with silver flakes, cased in white glass. This large and heavy piece measures approximately 7" long x 6.5" wide x 2.5" tall at its highest point and is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, stains, crazing, dents or utensil marks. The pontil and bottom are completely smooth and polished, with signs of shelf wear commensurate with age. One small divit in the bottom pontil. Please see pictures for details.
