The board is composed of four high-quality woods: maple, African mahogany (sapele), black walnut, and Brazilian purple heart. The spatula uses three of the same wood types, omitting the mahogany. This set was briefly on display in a hutch and then tucked away for a potential gift that never happened, so it is time for it to find a new home where it will bring joy to someone else. (Note that these pieces have never been waxed or oiled; properly applying such treatments will even further enhance their beauty.)
