This is finished in the Matte Black finish, with the Maple Neck and Maple Fretboard. This bass guitar is in NEAR MINT, 100% functioning condition. It is VERY CLEAN (recently thoroughly cleaned!) and was kept in a clean, properly humidified, smoke-free, pet-free environment.- This bass guitar comes with an installed replacement pickup, a Bartolini B Axis P style pickup. Sounds awesome, and the original MTD Proprietary P-Style pickup is included as well, although it is NOT SHOWN in the pictures! That is the only mod that has been done to this bass. - This guitar does not comes with any type of Bass Case but it will be packaged extra securely in double boxes to help protect the bass during shipping. - This bass guitar weighs in at approximately 9 lbs. 6 ounces. - This is in overall Near Mint condition, but has the following flaws that I could see:- There is some light user wear/ blemishes; patina on the bridge and the tuners. It seems as though all of the proprietary hardware that MTD uses on these Kingston series - are prone to this kind of wear from users' skin oils, etc. The pictures I took are closeups and I tried to capture it at its worst. In different or normal lighting, it's not as bad as it seems. (SEE PICS #18 thru #20)- There are a couple of very small blemishes on the rear side of the body, located by the rear control cavity. (SEE PIC #21)- There are a few very small blemishes on the rear side of the body, located by the neck bolts/screws. (SEE PIC #22)- There are some very small blemishes on the side of the body, located near the rear control cavity. Hard to photograph. (SEE PIC #23)- There may be some flaws that are manufacturer defects (barely noticeable, but with all manufacturers, they're there!) This is USED, so it may have some other very minor surface wear on the finish, and hardware from being played and handled, surface swirling, etc, but I couldn't see any to note. The nickel frets are still in excellent condition. - This guitar is set-up pretty darn well, but could use a set-up with the user's preference of strings. - THE STRINGS WILL BE SLIGHTLY LOOSENED UPON SHIPPING TO PROVIDE A FRETBOARD PROTECTIVE SLEEVE.
