Description: Mount Yale is a high and prominent mountain summit of the “Collegiate Peaks” in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The 14,200-foot is located in the “Collegiate Peaks” of “Wilderness of San Isabel National Forest”, 9.4 miles west by north of Buena Vista, Colorado. The term “Collegiate Peaks” comes from some of its individual peaks, which are named after universities, including “Harvard”, “Princeton”, “Oxford”, “Columbia”, and “Yale”, itself. This is a “Samuel Langsdorf & Co.” card that is in excellent condition with some minor wear on the corners and a clean, clear image. The reverse is also clean with a message but is not postmarked. Samuel Langsdorf was a publisher in New York, of black & white and elaborately tinted halftone postcards between 1906 and 1918. The colors on the card may vary due to the scanner settings and screen projections.Unless otherwise noted, I use Wikipedia, Playle's and Metropostcard for research and try to be as accurate as possible. Corrections appreciated. If this your card, it will be mailed promptly upon receipt of payment......
