Description: Mountain Mint Pycnanthemum Verticillatum25 Seeds Mountain Mint is the 'chewing gum' of our main garden. Anytime someone new walks through, we pick a leaf and say chew on this! You would not believe how it freshens breath while tasting wonderfully mild. The plant itself grows to be much taller and wilder that we first thought. During the summer, the plants grew to waist high and the same width! The walk paths were pretty tough to get through, so we were glad to see it calm down in the cooler December weather. Tiny white flowers form in little circles and attracts TONS of bees with a few butterflies too. At the end of season, the seed pods were removed and we had TONS of seeds! Mountain Mint can be trimmed & dried to make a wonderful cup of tea! When trimmed back to 6" tall, it grows back in no-time! It readily self-seeds & will grow back year after year. Mountain Mint grows well in zones 4-8. These seeds were harvested November 2023 Seed Starting Sprinkle seeds on surface of soil Lightly tamp so seeds are almost covered Seeds will sprout in 7-10 weeks Leave plenty of room for it to grow!
