The motors and some disassembled motors are from A.O Smith, G.E., Emerson.If you have a defective motor from model 500, 510, 520, most likely it can be rebuilt. How to determine if it is rebuildable: 1. It is currently running (with unusual vibrations and noises) 2. If it hums, disconnect power immediately. It is in most cases rebuildable. 3. If it runs extremely slowly, part of the coils is burnt. Not rebuildable. 4. If the coils are blackened, they are shorted. Not rebuildable.5. See the photo with burnt motor. What will be done to your motor? 1. It will be completely disassembled. 2. All saw dusts and debris will be removed. 3. The start-up circuit will be checked and serviced. 4. The capacitor will be checked to factory spec or replaced. 5. The bearings will be replaced with new ?electrical motor grade? bearings. 6. The motor will be assembled. 7. The sheave will be lubricated. 8. Lead wires will be replaced if necessary. 9. The motor will be test run for normal operation. Warranty: The rebuilt motor is warranted for a period of 90 days from the day it is shipped. If it fails or the buyer is unhappy for any reason, ship it back for remedies. After any necessary repairs, the motor will be shipped back to you at our expense. If you purchase another motor to replace the rebuilt motor (with proof), we will make a refund for the rebuilding fee. Procedure: 1. Contact the seller to verify that it is rebuildable. 2.
