Description: Introduced by Gorham Silver in 1875 and manufactured through 1991, Mothers-Old Sterling has a plain front and no rib back. This set was purchased at an estate sale and had been in the family for four generations. They are monogrammed in either "B" or "R". I, nor the estate person could be absolutely sure because of the ornate font used for the engraving.
