Description: This is a MORRIS MC 40 (M-Morris C-Concert) classical guitar. Morris guitars have the reputation for quality and a very good value for the price. The scale is 650 mm and it plays very well. Top appears to be and sounds like spruce, sides and back rosewood I understand that the MC 40 and MC 50 models were made with Brazilian rosewood but I cannot verify that this instrument is. The grain and color of the back and sides appear to be as well as the tone. It has been maintained in my music room in a climate controlled environment with the fret board conditioned at each string change. The finish is in very good condition with only one small mark on the back that is difficult to capture in the photos. Tone is subjective but I have received several compliments on the tone of this instrument. It has very good volume and projection and is quite an attractive guitar. A case is included and the handle and all latches work. Guitar stand not included. Please ask any questions before bidding or buying .
