Description: MOPAR AM Radio, part number 2884759. Fits 1970 and 1971 E-body Dodge Challenger, SE, R/T, Plymouth Barracuda, Gran Coupe, ‘Cuda models. I have read that it also fits 1972 to 1974, but the pushbuttons for those years were black. Radio has been tested using a 12 Volt power supply, a speaker, and a makeshift antenna made from speaker wire. I am sure it would have done better with a real antenna. This is an AM only radio, it is in good working condition. The reception is good, the tuner dials and preset buttons all work. It is a Bendix brand and has the part number and testing stickers still intact. The plastic face bezel and lens is good, not cracked, it reads “Chrysler Solid State”. Volume and tuning knobs are included. It has the correct antenna input on the lower right side for 90 degree cable input, and has chrome push buttons. The power and speaker wires are not cut. The chrome on the top side of the push buttons shows signs of corrosion. I did not try to clean them. I have a video of the radio working that I can email, if you like, or use the link, below.
