Description: This is a heavy beautiful piece. From research it looks like it may be called cast bronze, please see photos. It is 10 1/2 inches tall and width at the base is 4-3/4 inches. This is a child sitting on a pedestal writing something in a tablet. The bottom has stickers, Montefiori Collection Italy Design. Part of a upc, Comego dated October 2003. The back is stamped 2003 Crosa. Beautiful detail on the piece. I bought this many years ago at an estate sale and used it as a bookend/weight. I loved the innocence.
