Description: Up for sale is a preowned, vintage (1950s) Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Celluloid and Silver Rings Fountain Pen with a lovely original 14C B Broad size Nib, face/shank grooves ebonite ink feeder and Telescopic Piston mechanism. Please note; the band, inside the case, which holds the Pen is broken, see last picture. The Pen is freshly out from a private sale in Northern Virginia. The pen is in excellent working condition with original 14C semi flex B Broad Nib. These celluloid, silver rings 149 Pens are tea hard to come by recently & they are Montblanc’s Holy Grail. As you may know, this Pen is from the 1950s, over 60 years old, yet in very good condition, no cracks, chips, dings, dents, no shrinkage, the markings on the Cap’s band and Piston’s knob are prominent and crisp. The Pen is overall in excellent working condition. Please note; this pen is over 60 years old and it has not been polished, it’s in original acquired condition, so, it may bear signs of usage and handling, consistent with its age, but, no cuts, chips, cracks, dents, dings or deep scratches.
