The 220/221 produced from 1968 to 1979 was replaced with the Classic. While earlier pens were piston fillers, the Classic is filled with a catridge/converter. The catalog code for the Classic was 221P (black) and 221PR (burgundy). A gold plated steel nib version was offered with the catalog code 220.
