Description: This listing is for two monsters from the Deep Madness board game; a Bathophobia (the giant slug creature), and an Unbound (the creature made of tentacles). When I received my game from the manufacturer, these two monsters were each missing a piece, and the Unbound was actually broken off of its base. I contacted the company and received replacement miniatures, but then I still had these two spare broken/incomplete monsters sitting in my project box. I figured I would eventually get around to finding some appropriate bits and making the repairs. Well, with all of the "free time" that many of us had in the last couple of years, I did ultimately finish the repairs, and I used some old plastic Tyranid Gaunt arms as the base components. Even if I had never received the original replacement miniatures I would have been fine playing the game with these miniatures and the repairs that I have made. But I don't need two of each of these monsters, so I'm selling them here so that someone else can use these table-top terrors to torment their players/opponents in some game or other. These monsters would be perfect for any game where you want to represent something alien or otherworldly. They would make good Cthulhu monsters or summoned demons, alien creatures like The Thing, or even something that escaped from a scientist's lab. I have included photos of the repair work that was done. I have done no other work on these miniatures. The terrified Rebel Pilot miniature shown in the photos is for scale purposes only - he does not come with the two monster miniatures. They are listed as used, but apart from the repairs, they are exactly as if they had just come out of the box. Please see my other listings for more gaming and hobby items.
