These postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s, and they have LANDSCAPE and RURAL VIEWS. These type of postcards were very popular because they looked like ART PAINTINGS. Some postcards would have water views, sunsets, trees, relaxing nature views, etc. Publishers like Tuck & Sons made these type of postcards popular because of their beautiful colors, and they became souvenirs to cherish for the recipient. The postcards are nicely drawn, have good detail, and are pleasing to look at. A few were made in a PHOTO style. These are good postcards to add to a collection because of their attractive nature. They would appeal to collectors because of their nice designs, how they capture the style used back in the early 1900s, and how they provide a glimpse of life back in that era. They are from different publishers. Overall, a nice selection of antique Greetings postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (2) and POSTED (4) with cancel dates of 1908-1909. Some of these postcards would have been "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards (1908-1915 era). One is EMBOSSED and the others are flat printed. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. Regarding condition, please note that we try to remove damaged postcards from our lots, and only sell those postcards that are worth having in a collection. However, because of their age, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, and edge wear on the postcards. We do not want you to be disappointed. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
