Usually when used for machining work, an indicator has a small pressure applied to the probe and is re-zeroed at that point. Like most indicators that I have used, this one does not always return to zero at the limit of its travel; it may be a few tenths off. The small battery cover has one of its “ears” broken off, but a small piece of tape holds it securely. Because of this I am selling it as reparable.
