Description: Railroad Stock. Center vignette of cattle at watering hole & small angelic figures at top corners. A classic! Now becoming scarce!!! Available in Purple or Green. Please specify color. The Missouri"Kansas"Texas Railway, identified by the reporting mark MKT, was a former Class I railroad in the United States, with its last headquarters located in Dallas. It was initially founded in 1865 as the Union Pacific Railway, Southern Branch, and it established a comprehensive rail network throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. In 1988, the MKT merged with the Missouri Pacific Railroad and is currently integrated into the Union Pacific Railroad. During the 1890s, the MKT was often referred to as "the K-T," which denoted its Kansas-Texas division within the Missouri Pacific Railroad and its stock exchange symbol, "KT." This eventually contributed to its popular nickname, "the Katy." Item ordered may not be exact piece shown. All original and authentic.
