Description: MISPRINT Extremely RARE print shift error for this game NES Wild Gunman 5 Screw. Condition is Very Good. This version of Wild Gunman is the original 5 screw cartridge variant but with a rare print error. The remaining photos show a side by side comparison of two copies of this game that I have for reference and full cartridge pictures. Both the error copy and the comparison copy are from the same manufacturing facility (stamped with a 1 from quality control). This error is EXTREMELY RARE! This error is so rare that none of the Nintendo collector's sites list this game as having a print run error. As far as I can tell this is the only copy around. Error details: Either Color set 1 is shifted up or color set 2 is shifted down. Color set 3 is the black (dark color) overlay. I believe both shifts may be true after closer examination of the light gun series emblem in the lower left corner as both the red and white colors are out of line with the each other and the black color set. The shift is most evident on the cactus, hat, vest/buttons, belt, rocks, pants near the holster and boots, the lower edge of the orange background, the "Wild Gunman" and "Entertainment System" text, and the light gun series emblem. However, the Nintendo Seal of Approval is also double printed and the stars in the black field are all shifted as well. View the side-by-side comparison for examples. No online site has even indicated that this game has even had print errors so I didn't even know it existed until I happened across it when trying to sell duplicates from my collection. I can find no pictures or any other indication that Wild Gunman was susceptible to this error. This may indicate that this was the very first print and only error as the manufacturer calibrated the printer. After all this game is quality stamped from manufacturing facility number 1. Today this type of shift error would never occur with the advent of laser printing. Errors like this sell so infrequently I have no idea how to price this one. Partly, the infrequency is due to their extreme rarity which is due to their already low occurrence of survival as print errors often got destroyed in quality control or the labels thrown out. However similar known print errors have sold as much $200 and $800 dollars in the past (based on the estimated quantity of the error run). But there is not even evidence of another copy of this error for Wild Gunman, so I am going to start the auction at $1000 and see where it goes.Care and Cleaning: All of my games, including this one, have been opened and inspected and authenticity ensured, as well as cleaned and tested. I am an Electrical Engineer so I know my way around PCB circuit boards, DIPs and EPROMs. During cleaning all electrical and magnetic precautions are observed as well a corrosion/oxidation precautions. The brass pins are gently polished with a brass polishing solution and wiped clean with cotton and 90% Concentrated Isopropyl Alcohol to eliminate moisture content. Cartridges are never cleaned with acetone or any other substance that would degrade the integrity of the plastic housing, PCB board epoxy, or any components. Shipping:The package will be shipped with USPS First Class Package free of charge inside the United States. I can ship 2nd day or next day on request, (buyer pays the difference). Worldwide shipping is available and the buyer pays shipping. Returns: I do not normally accept returns but for this item I personally guarantee it's authenticity with a money back guarantee. (This is unnecessary because it is a real copy). The item will be insured for the full value during shipping so your purchase is covered and you can buy with confidence. However, returns are not covered or buyers remorse.
