Description: Minton Hand Painted 3 Blue Waxbill Birds & Gold 9 5/8 Inch Plate Circa 1888 Antique British bone china dinner plate. Nicely decorated with three hand painted small blue and brown birds in a cage. With gold gilding along the edge. Marked Made in England in green. Also impressed Mintons with a date code for 1888. Has some wear tot he gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide.
