Black transfer design of small spots around the rim and a center wreath. Printed cartouche backstamp "Spot and Wreath" above "M and B" of Minton and Boyle partnership, Stoke, Staffordshire. Godden mark # 2693a, "...printed marks, c. 1836-41.". Unusually fine clean condition. 1/4-inch shallow underside edge of foot of little matter, otherwise no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs.
