MINT RARE VERSION PELIKAN 400 GREEN STRIATED Fountain Pen-14k Nib-Restored

Description: This MINT GREEN STRIATED Pelikan 400 Gunther Wagner from the first 400 series. This is a rare version that had a thicker stamping at the end of the barrel, which was also filled with white coloring. I don't know more of this, but all of the 400 pens I had, had a smaller and shallower imprint, without any coloring. It says Gunther Wagner - Pelikan. Also, the nib size is stamped on the piston knob. The nib is crafted from 14k 585 gold and is a KM- Kugel Medium. A very smooth and flexy nib to write with. It features a huge line variation, as can be seen on the writing sample. Kugel nibs were meant to mimic a way of how a ballpoint pen writes. The pen is in mint condition, as you can see on the pictures. There are no cracks visible anywhere on it. The nib collar is also not cracked. The ink window is clear and there is no ink residue on it. The nib writes well and the pen has received a full service, which included full disassembly, thorough cleaning and lubrication of moving parts with silicone. I have provided a writing sample using Pelikan 4001 blue tint, in order to further describe the writing characteristics of the nib. Please keep in mind that I am a left handed writer.
