Description: Miniature Dollhouse Framed Print 18th c. GARDEN LADY soft turquoise ornate frame I just LOVE this image!GORGEOUS 18th century "Lady in Garden" print framed in a soft turquoise frame with gold highlights! Measures 2" by 2.5" For the frame I started with a handmade mold, mixed the 2 part epoxy resin and carefully filled it into the little cavity of the mold. When it was cured I took it out, sanded out each little imperfection, and painted it with luscious paints colors that I mix myself. Each one is a little different and has it's own unique personality! Depending on the look I'm going for I may mix and blend as many as 6 or 7 colors and 4 different tints of gold. I finished it with some antique wax and on the back I mounted a darling little snippet of antique birds so it looks just as wonderful as the front. Because of all these things, each frame is unique and "one of a kind" I worked very hard to make this little treasure look like it was rescued from an abandoned French Chateau! Each and every bit of paint and speck of gold were added on purpose to recreate that wonderful distressed look we all love!
