Description: Miniature Book This tiny treasure was manufactured in the 1950s in Germany by Franz Bischofer (born 1904) in a very limited edition. The micro book measures only 10 x 8.5 mm (0.39 x 0.33 inches)! It has a leather binding with gold stamping, and is even gilt-edged on all three sides! The tiny text can only be read with a magnifying glass and contains the Lord´s Prayer in 10 languages. What is a miniature book? Since the 8th Conclave of the Miniature Book Society in 1990, it is generally agreed on that a book is considered to be a miniature book when it is physically not larger, in any direction, than 100 mm (about 4 inches); in the United States it shall be no larger than 3 inches.
