Description: Here is a nice pair of medals from the Military Order Of The Serpent (a sub group within the United Spanish War Veterans) The first is a second degree members medal (denoted by the silver bar with the number 2) The second is a "Supreme Convocation medal" (the supreme convocations were held in conjunction with the USWV annual encampments and were the MOS national meeting) This medal is from the 1939 Atlantic City encampment. While very similar to the more common USWV version. This medal has the crest of the MOS depicted in the circle above McKinleys head (the USWV medal has the USWV crest there.)
