Description: Beautiful, Mido Multifort Superautomatic RM 226 vintage all stainless steel screwback waterproof type case, driven by a clean model 1941 A Schilds bumper automatic movement with a beautifully aged with even patina (see photos) with a black military type dial. 1112 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean 17 jewel model 1941 A Schilds bumper automatic movement is signed: "Mido Limited, mod 1941, 6428, made in Switzerland, 17 seventeen jewels, DXI." Movement runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Clean, octagonal all stainless steel screwback, waterproof type case measures 28.72 mm across without crown, 35.27 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back is signed "Mido, Multifort Automatic, Switzerland, waterproof, impermeable, anti-choc, anti-magnetic, rustless steel, 226". Case back interior is signed: " Brit pat 385509, 634757." Bezel is signed 634757." Crystal is pristine. DIAL: Nicely aged with even patina(see photos) military type dial features luminescent Arabic numbers, at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock, lumed hashes at remaining hours, radium hour and minute hands, copper outer minute track. Dial is signed: "Mido, Multifort, Superautomtic, RM, Made in Switzerland (all in copper) ". BAND: Fitted with black, stitched padded band as shown.
