I tested it with a handheld CB, and it received and sent. There is no12v powercord. I have enclosed a photo of the one that fits. I put 8 AA batteries in the battery pack, and it also works. The case is in good condition as is the carrying strap.The only cosmetically thing wrong is one of the tabs that the antenna snaps in to is broke off. I will include it if you want to glue it back on.It is about the size of a pellet for a pellet gun. This was made in February 1982. It is old, but in surprisingly good condition. As with all vintage electronics, I am selling this as a collectible only. So buy accordingly…. There is no power cord, and there is no charger should you want to use rechargeable batteries. Also, I almost forgot, this does not have a built-in speaker, so you will either need an auxiliary speaker or headphones. There is a plug-in in the back…. You only get what you see in the photos.
