Description: A large mid-century Orrefors cut Swedish crystal bowl. The pattern is called Bernadotte and was designed by Simon Gate. The bowl is just over 9.25 inches diameter and stands approximately 4.75 inches tall. This larger size bowl is a rare piece. It is signed on the bottom. This is thick, heavy Swedish crystal - the bowl weighs nearly 7 pounds. The bowl rings like a bell when tapped. There is a shallow chip/impact on the rim (the tip of the pen is pointing to it), there are shelf scratches around the polished pontil on the bottom, there is some faint water staining to the inside bottom, and the bowl has a few scratches.
