Description: A handmade cased glass vase in a bold aqua blue with contrasting stripes of lavender and a white interior. The colorful striped art glass design is called "Circus Tent" and dates circa 1950s. Although the vintage vase is unmarked, it is similar to the circus tent designs and heavy, thick sculptural forms produced by Barbini Glassworks of Murano, near Venice in Italy. The vase is in very good condition with a polished pontil underfoot, measuring 6 in. height and approx same in width.
