Description: Very beautiful rug, probably from the 70’s though it could be anywhere from the 1950’s to 80’s. Not like any other rug in my collection. An obvious abstract art styling a la Picasso and Joan Miró. Though in the little research I’ve tried to do it seems to be a Morroccan style to have the light green wool and the red and black abstract figures. Though those rugs are Berber like where as this rug is very similar if not nearly identical to good Navajo rugs. There seems to be a signature of the initials MB. There’s the beautiful sea foam green, black red and this beautiful lavender/purple/violet. Very high quality 100% wool well woven. Around 4 x 5 ft. and 4.5 lbs. If you happen to know about these rugs or even possibly who the artist/ weaver is please don’t be shy
