Description: CHILD SLED MID CENTURY HANDPAINTED FOLK ART DESIGN Condition is used Age and maker are unknown An old child's sled only 24" long by 11" wide by 3" height - with metal runners under the skis front to back Beautiful hand-painted green and orange with flowery designs. This lovely item looks like my own mother's childhood sleigh (has the same style metal runners) and my mother was born in the 40s. It may have been a hand-me-down though so could be older. The sleigh was hand painted later in its life in the 1980s. SIGNED by Artist "Lisa / 87" A few minute nicks in the paint and one board appears to have a 2" and 1" split with age (see photos) Contact me with questions.
