Description: Vintage MCM Plywood Bentwood Chair in Very Good Shape, probably from the 1950s. There are no markings on the chair, however most places refer to this as a Thonet Bentwood Childs Chair. I'm not saying it is for sure, but does it really matter, the style is enough to tell me it's something special. It's made very well, and has all of it's original fasteners. There are some cracks on the top layer of the plywood which can be seen in the photos, but there is no seperation. The height is 25 1/2 inches to the top of the backrest, 14 inches to the top of the seat, and the width of the seat is 14 inches. It's very sturdy, I am currently using it to set on when I stoke the woodstove. Thank You.
