Description: French Louis XVI Hollywood Regency Ebony Sideboard Credenza or Dresser. This large and impressive piece is very likely Maison Jansen for the following reasons... Note the hand carved shells on top of the columns that are three dimensional, and the 3 large doors having crossed arrows centered with lovely hand carved flower handles. The architecturally significant interior design...that is so nice that you want to leave it open all the time. Extreme Quality. Very heavy. It was acquired as a set, with a table and chairs that are distinctly Italian. All were made from the 1940's to the 1960's. (see our other items). Quite functional. Tons of storage. All of our items are being sold in the condition we found them in, with minor flaws because they are either a semi-Antique or Antique and may need slight restoration to bring them back to showroom condition.
