NO copy has ever earned a CGC grade higher than 9.8.Since CGC has classified this copy as having WHITE pages, there can be no higher designation for a CGC-graded 9.6 copy of MICRONAUTS #3!! See below for complete information on the condition of this beautifully-preserved classic issue Long term storage in a Mylar bag with an acid-free boarduntil submission to CGC in July of 2023! This issue was bagged and boarded since purchase and (since 1990, when I learned about the superior results attainable with archival storage products and moved my entire collection into those products) it was preserved in a thick archival Mylar bag with a heavy-weight acid-free board, and stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled home. It was removed from its Mylar bag for the first time to be graded by CGC!! I submitted it to CGC to be graded and encased and it was returned, with an 9.6 Grade, in Setember of 2023. This copy, both before and after processing by CGC, NEVER has spent a single day in an attic, basement or storage unit, (and it NEVER will as long as I own it!) Since I received it from CGC it has been stored in, and it will be shipped to its new owner in, its CGC-issued protective polybag.Thanks to careful handling, and long-term storage in Mylar, and despite turning 45 YEARS old in 2024, this issue STILL looks EXTREMELY nice, especially in its CGC case with a Universal Label displaying its 9.6 grade, and specifying that it still has WHITE pages!! Note that the photos used in this listing are not stock images. They are images of the exact copy being offered for sale. The photos show the covers, the CGC Grade and evaluation details, and all the corners, edges and ends of its CGC holder that's in brand new condition.
