I’m leaving these vintage chairs in “as found condition “, so you can refinish to match existing furniture. I’ve seen this chair in 2 finishes. One ebonized black finish and the other a medium walnut stain. 🌸👍I will add more photos of condition of wood at request. Happy to have you preview before purchase. Happy to add anything you request as far as pics and answer any questions. Michael Taylor for Baker Mid Century Cane Back Dining Chair has a mid-century modern style. The chairs are made of wood, cane, and upholstery materials. Each chair has a walnut finish and a cane back design. The chairs have an retro MCM look and were manufactured in 1979, I believe. Each chair is 32.25 inches in height, 23 inches in length, and 23 inches in width. ✅Cane is in great vintage condition, intact and tight. Seat is tight, webbing in excellent condition, simply needs new fabric. Wood needs refinishing. Slight tight fine split in frame on very top of one chair… solid, needs filler. No wobbles. No breaks, just been wiped and cleaned. Finish has been removed thru wear for so many years that finish was removed and down to bare wood on very top. Legs are in great shape, they are sturdy without major nicks, sturdy, no wobbles. Undercarriage marked MING with Model numbers stenciled on frame. For now, I’m doing local pickup. I’m in Los Angeles and there are enough buyers here so I’m not offering shipping, as of now. I can, at some point, be persuaded to ship , but I have never shipped furniture so would need some direction. Each chair measures: 20 wide x 23 deep x 32.25 high, with a seat height of 18 inches I’ve removed pastel fabric exposing original, worn, plaid fabric.
