Here's the ghost with the most, lovingly brought to virtual life in a very rare, early cast resin model, and in mint condition - complete, unbuilt, and packed in its original decorated box with detailed instructions and signed COA. Fact is, a mere handful of these awesome figure kits were produced 34 years ago by Cineform Creations, with most of them sold at small West Coast hobby shops at that time. Sculptor Steve LaPorte brings a fine likeness and just the right gesture to the piece, which is no wonder, as the artist won the "Best Make-up" Oscar in '88 for his work on Keaton as Beetlejuice for the film. The sculpt is excellent, posing our hero sitting atop his own tombstone in that zany striped suit. Slickly cast in solid ivory resin, the model has clean fitting parts that are neatly keyed for a perfect fit. LaPorte’s Beelejuice is a 1/5 scale figure, measuring approx. 14” tall x 9 ½”wide x 9”once assembled. Beyond the fine figure, the kit includes two pages of detailed building and painting instructions (with photos), and a COA signed in ink by Steve LaPorte. Make no mistake, the amazing garage kit dates back to the dawn of the hobby, and is exceedingly scarce today, especially complete, untouched, and boxed. In fact, raising the dead just might be easier than unearthing one of these bad boys! Please note that this is an original garage kit, not a recast.
