This Australian-pressed first CD edition was manufactured at Disctronics. No IFPI codes in matrix or hub. It is notable for having the misprinted track title WANT TO BE STARTIN’ SOMETHIN’ on the disc upper. The track listing layout and artwork on the disc upper are unique to this first Australian pressing. MICHAEL JACKSON and THRILLER are printed in blue ink and the track listing is wrapped rather than one track per line. Subsequent Australian releases retained the WANT TO BE misprint but employed a different layout of the text. The 24-page booklet accompanying this release is printed as per the European issue with the BILLY JEAN track listing misprint on page 2. All scans are of the actual item. Track timings below taken from the disc when in my player. CONDITION: CD is in EXCELLENT/VERY GOOD condition, a few light superficial hairline scuffs, disc plays perfectly. Booklet and rear inlay are in EXCELLENT condition, lightest of wear, no major blemishes. Booklet contains 24 pages with lyrics, track-by-track musician credits and acknowledgements, MJ’s illustrations, centrefold photo, care-of-compact-disc instructions. This is an original and genuine factory-pressed CD with its full original documentation in an intact jewel case. It is not a CD-R, not a copy and not a bootleg.
