Description: The MFJ-1278 interfaces your radio with any personal computer that has an RS-232 or TTL level Serial Port and a terminal program. This compact versatile controller employs the genuine TAPR TNC 2 AX.25 protocol Packet firmware plus many added features to receive and transmit VHF Packet, HF Packet, AMTOR, CW, ASCII, RTTY, Facsimile, and SSTV. This unit worked the last time I used it (a long time ago) and it still powers up. I have no way to test it but will guarantee it will not be DOA. It comes with the manual, an MFJ-5026 TNC-to-Radio cable and a serial port connector. You will need to supply a power adapter that provides 12v center positive. I also comes in the original box.
