Meyer Sound UPA-1 speaker READ DISCRIPTION

Description: Please read this description completely You are viewing 6 Meyer UPA-1 speakers. Sell price is each unit or speaker.They are in average used condition. The sound quality is as Meyer designed them. These speakers require Bi-Amplification and need an active crossover. They Have the correct Capacitor for the tweeter. They have the correct Meyer Tweeter assemblies and horn and they work and sound great. The 6 units are loaded with 3 Meyer woofers and 3 JBL woofers ……..12” drivers. The Meyer woofer is rated at 300 watts RMS and the JBL woofer is rated at 500 watts RMS.I can provide pictures of the JBL woofers if you prefer. The reason for the JBL woofers was purely cost differential….it was cheaper to get these speakers working by using the JBL woofers.A Meyer woofer recondition was $250. The JBL cost $175 each and are more powerful. The sound was the same. I also have 6 Meyer UPA-1 copies if your interested. All contain all JBL components. Price is for one unit or speaker.I will entertain all offers.These speakers are located in Lake Worth Florida. This is between Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. I strongly suggest that you demo these speakers if you wish.
