Description: A delightful glass flower pot made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art - MMA. The blue is gorgeous and opaque - maybe a corn flower, forget me not blue is the best description. It is marked on the bottom with the MMA initials. As you can see from the photos, the glass is horizontally ribbed and a three dimensional basket of flower blooms are on two sides of the pot. The trim at the top is a design of oak leaves and acorns. Pot has hole in bottom for drainage but is missing its saucer. No chips, cracks or scratches. It really is beautifully made and would look lovely in the spring with a white hyacinth or paperwhites. It will be lovingly bubble wrapped to make it safe and sound to its new home.
