From what I read, it was made to promote Metallica's Australian tour in 1993 - Vertigo made gold versions of their first five albums on CD. This is a limited edition and hard to find gold CD version. The CD is in good (G) condition with some scratch & scuffs that you can see in the cd pics - the CD has been play tested and it plays and sounds great - the case is in pretty good condition with no cracks or anything and the inlay is in very good condition - please see the images that were taken of this item that is being sold for confirmation of condition. This rare and limited edition album is a must-have for any Metallica fan and their second to none style of heavy metal.
