Each ceramic mug is printed one-by-one, by hand, using dye sublimation. There are a number of steps involved with this process:1. print the graphics onto special paper using ink-jet2. cut the paper around the graphic to fit the mug3. pre-heat the mug base4. position & tape the graphic paper onto the mug5. place it in the heat press for 3 minutes to transfer the ink6. remove from heat press & remove transfer paper & tape7. leave the mug to cool off from 400 degree to room temp8. pack for shipment This process takes a bit of time but it creates a long lasting graphic that won't peel, or fade. The dye from the ink is absorbed right into the ceramic to make a long lasting, vivid image & text. So it's totally worth the time it takes.
