Description: PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING: This beautiful Merlin frame is in nice condition, however two things will have to be considered before you build: FIRST: We only made a cursory effort to remove the Shimano Dura-Ace bottom bracket. It could be stuck, however the bearings are buttery smooth. It's a 103mm square taper unit that matches with DA cranks of the 9-speed era just before Shimano moved on from square taper to the Octolink design. I actually have a matching DA crank that will work, but isn't pretty anymore. I'm happy to throw it in, just let us know. SECOND: The Dura-Ace 1" threaded headset that is in the frameset now is cooked. It's indexed. WE will remove it prior to boxing the frame and fork for shipping. If you want the parts for some reason, let us know. We may have a black Chris King in stock if you're interested for an extra charge.
