That means that you don't have to worry about running the installation DVDs that come with the kit. Just plug in the drive/key, turn it on, and the update is done!Again, this listing is for an sATA drive/key. If you have an Asus or Intel board in your ION machine, this kit will work! If you have an ECS board (the purple one), this kit WILL NOT WORK. You will need an IDE drive. If you have that, just email me, and I'll get you setup.PLEASE READ THIS PART: Keep in mind that this is a legit, Standard US, ION 2014 key. Many of the other keys I'm seeing listed on eBay are one of 2 things. #1, they aren't standard US keys. The standard US keys end in "-01" and that means all the games are enabled. If you see a key that ends in "-06" or "-09" or "-11", it's going to have some games blocked. Either card games or adult games. Something. Next, this is a legit key. The sticker on the key should look like the one in the picture. If it has a sticker and it's hand written "2014", you are getting a hard drive that has been hacked to run without the key, and a fake key that's worthless. That may be fine now, but, when the drive gets data corruption or something, you are gonna be screwed. DO NOT BE DUPED into buying one of these.
