Description: This is an estate found silverplate cocktail shaker made in the late 1920's by Meriden International Silver Co. The cocktail shaker is numbered 314. It has roughly a 56 ounce capacity. There is a built in strainer inside the spout. The cover for the pouring spout is missing, and the spout has a subtle dent at the end, otherwise this piece is in very good condition. The top cover is cork lined. I bet the spout cover was too. The overall height to the top of the finial of the cover is approximately 13 1/4". I polished this piece lightly just to check the condition of the plating. It could use a touch more polishing. The silverplate is in very good condition.
