The building war designed to look like a gigantic railroad roundhouse. It was the largest building at the 1939 Fair. Despite its slightly more humble nature, the New Yorker hotel is filled with untold secrets and forgotten stories. One being an old dining room that came complete with a retractable ice floor, where diners could sip cocktails while watching a twirling glamorous dance show. There is a card attached for the Jersey Sling drink. The menu is signed by around 17 members of the party and dated Oct 11, 1939. 9” x 11 ¼”. Rough edges and folded a bit crooked. Folded in half with crinkling at the edge. See scans.
