All four volumes are clean inside. Vol 1 is cut, Vols 2-4 are not cut. Rabbi Israel ben Joseph Alnaqua was an ethical writer who lived in Toledo, Spain. He died at the stake, during the massacres in the summer of 1391. He is the author Menorat ha-Maor "The Lamp of Illumination". The work commences with a long poem, an acrostic on the author's name.
