You can see names of fellow passengers, the crew, entertainments, the log of the ports visited, etc. Havana was one of the stops. --The MS Gripsholm was built in 1924, and was the first ship built for transatlantic express service as a diesel-powered vessel, rather than as a steamship. From 1927 onwards, the Gripsholm made transatlantic passenger crossings plus regular recreational cruises.
