I acquired this at the MELVIN WARREN estate state years ago! I will include a copy of the auction catalog with the photo; it's lot # 46 in the catalog. Auction was on May 16, but not sure what year (not mentioned in catalog, I was there & I certainly don't remember, lol; WARREN died in 1995, so assuming in next year or so). GREAT artist in his prime; his best works such as "REMNANTS OF THE HERD", "A COLD DAY", "COWBOY RENDEZVOUS" etc. will compare with ANYONE'S works. Major works sell in the SIX figures; with "REMNANTS" selling for just under $500,000!!! WARREN was a long time member of the COWBOY ARTISTS OF AMERICA & won over TWENTY gold & silver awards over the years!!! Photo image is approx: 13 1/2 x 10 1/2 in. GREAT cond. & nicely framed!!
